In the 1980s, an embattled anchorwoman and an ambitious reporter confront studio politics and their own desires as they navigate the cut-throat world of Australia's news media.

Episode 1 - Bert Newton Double

Filmed in January 2024, body double for Bert Newton. CGI was used for the face while I replicated his physical mannerisms from the 1989 Logie Awards. The published episode was, as intended, a mixture of the shoot and archival footage. An interesting experience, outside of my predominately theatre-based practice. Very different worlds!

Episode 4 - Camera Operator

Filmed in March 2024. I was asked to return for a second role (as my face wasn’t used the first time!). A more familiar scenario and an enjoyable experience.
